APPLICATION DEADLINE: Internally August 21, 2017 Externally August 25, 2017 Plant Equipment Operator Trainee-Boardman (U17-153) $19.34 per hour Train to become a fully qualified plant equipment operator at the Boardman Coal Fired Plant. Study plant systems and complete a series of walk downs, check offs, written exams, and oral exams to demonstrate qualifications. Typical responsibilities include: - Complete Operator Trainee Orientation Program. - Complete Plant Equipment Operators Qualification Program. - Perform duties of PEO when assigned. The successful candidate should have: - Must be able to achieve a passing score on the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) exam (exam will be scheduled by Human Resources). - Must have knowledge of basic algebra. - Must be able to read, write and comprehend technical material associated with the job. - Must have a valid Driver's License with evidence of safe driving habits. - Will be expected to qualify as PEO within 18 months.
