POSITION VACANCY Policy Analyst Fulltime DUTIES: Analyze & research problems, opportunities, programs & processes throughout the organization. Utilize available data to develop recommendations to improve or reengineer processes; track & monitor project/program performance, progress & compliance. Prepare & assist in the formulation of special studies & projects, department reports & presentations. Assist with public relations & community outreach (e.g., information dissemination &, plan, schedule & organize activities). May be embedded within a department/workgroup for extended periods. REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible analytical or database experience; local government experience preferred. Experience in developing & writing policies & print publications; website development is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, public policy or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education & experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills & abilities required to perform the job. Familiarity with bilingual (English & Spanish) presentation of programming & materials preferred. Valid WA driver license.
