Sr Program Analyst
Salary Range: $28.64 - $33.71 per hour (Increment 1 - 9)

There is one Purchasing Manager vacancy in Financial Services. This position directs and manages, with full fiscal authority, all operational aspects as they relate to procurement, contract and grants management for Yakima County. Maintains expert knowledge of regulatory requirements and develops, implements and monitors strategic processes regarding selection and sourcing goods and services, including but not limited to those for public services, technical and professional consulting, architectural and engineering, construction and infrastructure maintenance and repair. Must build strong relationships and commitments with supplier/vendor businesses and can negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize benefits on behalf of Yakima County.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or Related Field plus five years of progressive, directly related experience in the field, 2 years of which shall be in a supervisory or managerial capacity with budgetary, policy, and procedural administration responsibilities and accountability; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to perform the duties of this position.
