The Yakima County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has immediate openings for Attorney I
through Attorney IV positions. Candidates will work in a professional, collegial, and fast-paced
environment. Assignment is at the discretion of the Prosecutor and placement may be in the
Juvenile, District Court, Felony, or Special Assault divisions. The Attorney II requires a minimum
of four (4) years’ experience. Eight (8) years of law practice experience is required for Attorney
III positions. For Attorney IV, a minimum of twelve (12) years of law practice experience is
required and a significant amount of jury trial and/or courtroom experience at the Juvenile
Court or Superior Court level. Membership in the Washington State Bar Association is required.
