Prosecuting Attorney's Office $63,320 - $99,641 annually depending on qualifications. 40 hours per week. The Yakima County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has three openings for attorneys with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Position 1 - Civil Division Hiring Range $70,552 to $99,641 (Attorney II/III/IV Range) This position is responsible for providing comprehensive legal services and advice to County elected officials, agencies and departments in civil matters regarding general municipal, contract, zoning and land use, code enforcement, real estate and other legal matters regarding public works.
Position 2 and 3 - District Court or Felony Division Attorney I ($63,320-$67,313) or Attorney II ($70,552-$81,950). Incumbent will provide professional legal work of criminal prosecution, with direct to close levels of supervision.
Education and Experience: Requires current admission to the Washington State Bar Association and a member in good standing. Hiring range is based upon directly related experience; the Attorney II requires 4 years of experience, the Attorney III - 8 years, and the Attorney IV 12 years.
