Natural Resources Specialist
Natural Resources Specialist $28.64 hourly, plus benefits. There is one position with Yakima County Public Services, Water Resources Division. This position is responsible for managing contracts and consultants and conducting water resources related projects. Identifies, develops, writes scope of works, and accomplishes multi-objective water resources related projects.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Natural and Water Resources, or closely related field in water resources and five (5) years working in civil engineering discipline or related field and specializing in the areas of hydraulics and hydrology or the equivalent education and experience required to perform the essential duties of the job.
Required: WA State Driver's License and proof of insurance, at time of appointment. Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and GIS, surface water or flood software.
