Agricultural Research Technologist 2

Washington State University Extension Commercial Vegetable Research Program (Pasco location) seeks an Agricultural Research Technologist 2 to assist with vegetable farm research projects.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in the applied, biological, chemical, physical or agricultural sciences, and one year of experience as an Agricultural Research Technologist 1; or equivalent education/experience.

Additional Requirements: Vegetable farming experience. Experimental and analytical skills. Understanding and knowledge of research theory. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Must have, or able to obtain a WSDA Public Operator Pesticide License. Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license at time of hire. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in relevant research field of study.
