Assistant Director, Budget Office
As Assistant Director, you will works with the Budget Director in providing leadership, administration and coordination for the Budget Office.
You are primarily responsible for assisting the Budget Director in providing leadership and overall management of the University’s biennial budget, technical preparation of the operating budget and consolidation/reconciliation of the overall University budget, and providing University-wide planning analyses for use by the Budget Director, Vice Presidents and President of the University.
- University Budgeting and Legislative Duties
- Ad Hoc Report Creation, Analyses, and Project Work
- Manage the Budget Office in the absence of the Director
- Professional Development and Continuous Process Improvement
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Seven or more years of meaningful experience in higher education, public budgeting, or financial administration
- Demonstrated competence in planning, process analysis, and budget analysis
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with a diverse group of business and technical teams
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive work environment where people of diverse identities and backgrounds are respected and valued
