Education Technologist
Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is accepting applications to fill a full-time Education Technologist position on the Walla Walla campus. This position will provide exceptional and innovative leadership, mentorship, and training to faculty in the area of instructional technologies and corresponding methodologies that promote student engagement, learning, and success. Qualifications: Masters degree in Educational Technology/Instructional Technology or closely related field. Professional experience may substitute for education requirement at the discretion of the College This position will remain open until filled. Required Qualifications
Equivalent education/experience may substitute at the discretion of the College
- Master's degree Educational Technology/Instructional Technology, or closely related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in college-level teaching or serving as an educator of educators; teaching experience as a teaching assistant or adjunct instructor may count toward the requirement.
- Knowledge and understanding of research and literature in the fields of faculty development, instructional technology and instructional design, learning theories, and learning outcomes.
- Experience with Canvas, or similar learning management system.
Desired Qualifications
- PhD or EdD in Education.
- Experience in teaching via a variety of modalities – online, hybrid, web- or technology-enhanced, face-to-face, or audio/video.
- Bilingual, especially in Spanish/English
