Role and Responsibilities:Provides leadership for operational effectiveness, clinical excellence and personnel management in accordance with Walla Walla Clinic mission, vision and values. Budgetary, fiscal and business planning that promotes revenue enhancements and cost efficiency. Develop, implement and monitor operating and capital budgets. Accountable for meeting budgetary and operational targets.Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with providers, department directors/managers, staff and patients. Leads continuous improvement efforts and develops a culture for change within and between departments. Develop annual objectives including goals and strategies for department. Creates and monitors infrastructure, systems, processes and standards to achieve desired outcomes. Responsible for all legal, regulatory and certification requirements. Also complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of the organization. Follow all local, state, federal law, OSHA standards, and clinic policies. Maintain appropriate records in an ongoing and orderly manner. Directs recruitment, training, development and evaluation of staff. Assure the ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. Communicate policies and philosophy to staff. Leads patient experience improvement efforts throughout Radiology department. Drives provider satisfaction with services for all radiology modalities. Creates a work environment that fosters high levels of caregiver engagement. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Education Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration or related field.Minimum of 7 years of related experience.Minimum of 5 years progressive management experience. Must have comprehensive knowledge of Radiology/Imaging Services. ARRT Certified and licensed in the State of Washington. Ability to deliver financial results for areas of accountability. Ability to prioritize workload, to work independently and delegate effectively. Must be detailed oriented and well organized. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications. Strong patient service and results focus. Ability to motivate and coach staff, promote ongoing learning, and lead improvement activity.Schedule: Monday - Friday (some evening and weekends)Supervisory Responsibilities: YesPhysical demands: Walking, bending, sitting, standing, typing.Position Type/Expected Hours to work: 40+
