Information Strategy Consultant
Duties:
- Perform ETL Design and Development of source data, work with internal customers to develop tools and services, promote self-service data retrieval model within Development by providing consultative services on data analysis, reporting tool usage and reporting best practices.
- Delivery of Business Application Solutions: Work with functional leads to facilitate gathering business requirements, transform and develop these requirements into Salesforce application design and implementation.
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for new projects and enhancements to existing solutions.
- Perform configuration activities and support for Ellucian Advance Web and/or Salesforce application.
- Actively participate in code reviews and QA testing, and work with users to test and debug programs and applications.
- Assist in every stage of information use.
- Maintain the integrity of supported systems by providing on-going maintenance and support, including troubleshooting system problems, tuning, debugging, and testing of system upgrades and fixes, and collaborating with OIT and 3rd party vendors for complex issue resolutions.
- Manage the delivery of small projects to ensure the scope and direction of the project is on schedule. Train other team members on knowledge of application systems and new technologies.
- Coordinate/execute miscellaneous project assignments as requested.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Three (3) years of experience which includes 2-3 years in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Business Analysis;
- 2-3 years Industry experience in Higher Education Advancement;
- 1-2 years with Salesforce configuration and/or development; 1-2 years with Ellucian Advance Web configuration and/or development;
- Proficiency in PL/SQL programming.
