The Department of Radiology is hiring! We have several modalities open including IR. We are willing to train – Great opportunity to learn a new modality!
We are currently seeking full time Imaging Technologists in Interventional Radiology. Successful completion of two-year or other approved program by Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology Education is required. Current certification or eligibility for certification in diagnostic procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Current Permit to Practice issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health for all radiographers operating ionizing radiation emitting equipment is required.
Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Perform and teach specialized interventional procedures utilizing complex imaging equipment with close patient monitoring during exam. Perform duties in interventional labs in Radiology and OR settings for routine and critical procedures. Work schedule is primarily Monday – Friday with rotating day and evening shifts; includes rotating on-call duties, weekends and holidays.
