The UIHC Department of Radiology –Is now advertising for an IT Support Analyst. Typical work hours are first shift, Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Position Summary:
Produce information assets and creative solutions that strategically advance teaching, research and service through robust and secure infrastructure, information tools, systems and stewardship of information assets. Provide direct support, consultation, guidance and training to users and identify technical solutions. Support daily operations and assist with technology planning in an effort to maximize user and organizational effectiveness. Position is considered essential for the effective long-term operation of the university. Persons appointed to this position will receive the privileges and benefits associated with regular employment status
Position Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and answer questions related to the functionality and use of a variety of computer systems used in Radiology.
- Perform QA functions on a variety of computer systems used in Radiology, including reconciling patient data and deletion of incorrect data.
- Assist in training the Radiologists and Residents on using the Radiology PACS, dictation system, and other computer systems.
- Handle the first level of troubleshooting for Radiology computer system issues.
- Help end users across the hospital with image viewing, processing orders from providers for external Radiology exams and requests for Radiology studies from outside facilities.
