Law Enforcement Officer
Position: Law Enforcement Officer
Department: Police Department, Tri-Cities Airport
Reports to: Chief of Police
FLSA Status: Part Time, Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $25.00/hr., sick leave per Washington State Sick Leave requirements
The Port of Pasco/Tri-Cities Airport has an open position for a full-time Law Enforcement
Officer. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as a desire to work with the
community are essential. To qualify for this position applicants must meet the requirements
listed below:
REQUIREMENTS:
Current Peace Officer Certification from any state
Successful completion of the LEO Application Packet, which includes
o Port of Pasco Employment Application
o Personal History Statement
o POP Law Enforcement Application
Graduation/Certification from a state accredited law enforcement training academy
Current certification through CJTC, or ability to become certified through the
equivalency academy
5 years of experience in Law Enforcement
In order to obtain employment, the selected candidate must be able to successfully complete
the background investigation and polygraph, as well as be able to pass a pre-employment
physical and drug test, psychological and equivalency academy (if not currently certified in
Washington State.)
