Slippery Rock University invites applications for the Director of Facility Operations. The Director’s responsibilities and operation of the campus utility infrastructure, including the heating plant; oversight of maintenance and minor construction activities performed by the Zone Maintenance staff in all campus buildings; and supervision of a staff of approximately 60, including five supervisors; one utility plant supervisor and four building maintenance foremen.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree; 7+ years in progressively responsible facilities and management experience; experience in utility infrastructure, building maintenance, and energy management; knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and UCC rules and regulations, supervising trades employees; experience working with diverse populations; successful performance in an on-campus interview.
