SERVICE ENGINEERING MANAGER
Sematic USA, Inc. is looking for a Service Engineering Manager to work out of its Twinsburg, OH facility. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to customers by performing failure analyses on mechanical & electrical components of elevators to determine root cause.
The candidate must have 48 months experience in Technical Support of Electro-Mechanical Products, 24 months experience must be in Technical Support in the elevator industry. Must have demonstrated knowledge and practice of mechanics and electronics. Must have experience working with multi-national companies in an international environment. Must be able to read, interpret, comprehend and implement industry standards and customer-supplied documentation in written, oral or diagram format. Must be able to manage problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have experience using ERP software. Must have experience using 2D to 3D Autodesk software programs. Valid passport required with ability to travel internationally.
70% travel required to international offices and plants, as well as to customer locations. Travel will be primarily in North and South America. The candidate must have at least a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
