Electrical Design Engineer (Nuclear)
SE&C is seeking qualified candidates for an Electrical Design Engineer (Nuclear) for our client in Richland, WA.
Title: Electrical Design Engineer (Nuclear)
Contract Duration: 3-5 year project
Location: Richland, WA
Rate: $60-$120/hr based on experience and qualifications.
Hours: 4/10’s
# of Positions: 5+
Per Diem: none (they are looking for candidates living in the area or willing to relocate at their own expense)
Close date: once positions are filled
Clearance Required: An active DOE Clearance would be helpful but not required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution in Engineering or related field.
Experience
- 5+ years Electrical Engineer experience, nuclear experience preferred.
- Engineering and design of equipment, facility power distribution and lighting systems
- Professional Engineers license preferred, but not required
- Active DOE Clearance is a plus, but not required
- Must be a US Citizen
Project Details/Additional Experience
- Project is focused on equipment design and updating obsolete equipment
- Design of specialty equipment, with experience in the design of nuclear material handling equipment a plus.
- Nuclear facility experience a plus
- Working with NQA-1 standards a plus
- Nuclear high hazard facility experience a plus
