Puget Sound Educational School District seeks an Early Head Start Assistant Teacher to join our team of educators and work in a strong collaborative partnership with the Lead Teacher and Teacher. Job duties include collaborating with the Lead Teacher in designing and leading children's learning, documenting children's outcomes, and working with families. At Educare you will join a community of learners focused on providing high quality care and early childhood education, while working closely with families to support the growth and development of their children.

Minimum Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate required and 12 job related credits.

- Early childhood experience in an early childhood setting.
Must obtain Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of employment, and CPR/First Aid Certificate within 90 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Head Start, Early Head Start, or other comprehensive child development/family support program
- Experience working with low income and/or diverse populations
- Experience working with infants/toddlers
- Former or current Head Start/ECEAP participant/parent

Based in White Center at Educare. Schedule: Full-time, year 'round, 40 hours/week.
Salary: $16.79-$18.57/hour (Salary Schedule - PSAI(a))
