POSITION STATEMENT The Warehousing Coordinator is responsible for warehouse organization, scheduling of inbound and outbound trucks, inbound component QC inspections, preparing outbound BOL's, and driving the forklift as needed. The Warehouse Coordinator will conduct regular inventory counts on finished goods and bottling supplies. This position is responsible for the daily inspections of the forklifts. During harvest this position will help with the logistics of the grape deliveries by scheduling grape trucks as needed. This position is central to the success of the winery by providing support to the bottling operations to maintain the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse and by maintaining good record keeping of those operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Warehousing & Logistics (60%+) - Schedule inbound and outbound trucking loads. - Prepare BOL's for outbound shipments. - Schedule inbound delivery of bottling and cellar dry goods. - Plan for bottling material needs & communicate any concerns or issues. - Organize the warehouse to maximize storage and optimize logistics. - Review and update warehouse protocols as needed. - Load and unload trucks as needed. 2. QC & Library Wine (15%) - Regularly count the component & finished goods inventory at the end of each production run. - Inspect incoming packaging materials to ensure accuracy and damage free. - Maintain Library & QC hold inventory. 3. The incumbent must be aware that the job involves distribution of alcohol beverages and recognizes that the company in no way encourages excessive or unnecessary drinking of alcoholic beverages while exercising the duties of this job. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds at a time, the approximate weight of a case of wine. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Prior experience managing a warehouse - Prior experience maintaining warehouse records - Current valid driver's license - Prior experience driving forklift - Ability to lift 50# on an ongoing basis - Ability to work overtime as needed - Extensive overtime during harvest - Prior Winery Experience a plus - No DWI offenses - No illegal drug use - Residency required in West Richland area - Employee must comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations which govern the alcoholic beverage industry and maintain at all times the highest ethical business standards and fiduciary duty on behalf of the company and its customers.
