Undergraduate Program Coordinator (00885A)
To provide administrative technical and data management support specifically for the Undergraduate Nursing program including its director, chief academic advisor, faculty and over 500 students. In addition, this position provides support for the general administrative activities of the School of Nursing.
Required qualifications: Working knowledge of database information systems and Microsoft Office products. Basic knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques. Demonstrated time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a multi-task environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently on assigned projects. Demonstrated ability to manipulate data, produce reports and prepare correspondence. Some experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment to include database management.
Preferred qualifications: Some knowledge of student recruitment and advising. Some knowledge of student scholarship management and financial aid services. Some experience in academics, preferably in higher education. Some experience with maintaining websites. Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Conditions of Employment: Job is based in Virginia Beach at the Virginia Beach Education Center, 1881 University Drive.
