National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators Administrative Assistant Quality Management Department Two positions - Job Posting The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) has an opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team! Since 1995, NCCCO has developed effective performance testing standards for those working in and around load handling equipment, including cranes. NCCCO is the national leader in providing crane operator certification. We are committed to quality, integrity, and fairness in testing and have issued certifications in all 50 states. NCCCO has immediate openings for two Administrative Assistant positions in our Murray, Utah office.
These positions will provide specialized program support in the Quality Management Department, with general administrative assistant responsibilities including: maintaining databases; sending and receiving written communications; preparing documents, reports and presentations; maintaining computer and paper files; scheduling calendar appointments, meetings and travel; answering telephone calls; resolving routine inquires and problems; etc.
Primary Responsibilities: Providing administrative support for programs and initiatives ensuring that the organization's policies, procedures and services are of the highest quality and consistently applied to achieve excellence, including support for program integrity, exam auditing, and/or practical examiner accreditation programs.
Reporting Relationship: One position report's directly to NCCCO's Manager of Practical Examiner Accreditation. The second position reports primarily to the Program Manager, Audit Program/Practical Examinations, and secondarily to the Coordinator of Program Integrity.
Primary Duties of Administrative Assistant Positions:
Practical Examiner Accreditation Support
Maintaining/updating practical examiner records, email lists and records. Maintain website access and lists and resolve updates/login issues. Generate and mail practical examiner accreditation cards and kits. Receive, review, respond to and approve score sheets.
Exam Auditing Program Support
Respond to and enter test notifications with database management of records. Processing/updating/tracking letters and records. Inputting reports into database; receive and approve requests. Scanning, filing, emailing, and mailing cards along with other materials.
Program Integrity Support
Drafting letters/using templates, organizing files, and generating lists. Assisting in management of database and applicant files. Assist with program integrity investigations, as assigned.
Fee Processing
Accepting and processing payments, refunds and adjustments.
Run reports on payments and transactions.
Audit/reconcile differences with possible investigations as assigned.
Other duties as assigned or as needed.
Education and/or Experience: NCCCO is seeking applicants who reflect and understand our values: Quality, Integrity, Fairness, Excellence, Service and Respect. Preferred qualifications are: Associates degree in business or related field and up to 2 years of relevant experience. A passion for and knowledge of the crane and crane-related industries is a plus.
