Insurance Representative - Appointment Scheduler

Personal Lines Account Representative
This position handles a busy, medium-to-large multi-lines Personal Lines book of business. The successful candidate will have experience in processing and renewing auto, homeowners and related personal insurance policies, as well as rating and quoting new and renewal business. If you do not currently possess a NYS Personal Lines license, we will assist you in obtaining one, if hired.
Health Benefits Account Representative
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience working with Group and Individual clients to research, present and provide the best possible options for their benefit needs. We offer guidance on Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, Long Term Care, Medicare and New York State Health Exchange coverages. You will maintain an assigned book of business as well as quoting new and renewal business. A current NYS Life/Accident/Health license is preferred; however, if you do not have one, we will assist you in obtaining one, if hired.
Professional Liability (E&O) Producer
The ideal candidate will be one who is interested in educating and advising land title professionals with regard to their insurance needs. An organized and self-motivated individual will be most successful in this role. Applicants must be comfortable cultivating and building relationships on the phone and in person, and have strong presentation and closing skills.
Two or more years in a sales or insurance position, and the ability to create clear, client-focused proposals and presentations is necessary. The ability to make new contacts and deliver new business using a multi-platform approach is equally important in this fast-paced environment.
Appointment Scheduler (PT or FT)
The successful candidate will be an organized, customer-focused team player with a professional demeanor and exceptional attention to detail. In this fast-paced business environment, you should be comfortable contacting identified corporate prospects via phone and email to set phone and in-person appointments. Proficiency with MS office and computer technology, as well as excellent oral and written communications skills, are necessary. Prior experience in a sales, insurance or risk management environment is desirable.
In each of the above positions, strong attention to detail, organized work habits and excellent customer service skills are required. Computer proficiency is necessary, and experience with Agency Management systems is a plus.
