Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and service and repair mechanical and electrical components of refrigeration systems
• Maintain, diagnose and repair multiple types of refrigeration systems, as well as all components related to the equipment. Including self-contained coolers and freezers, single systems, rack systems and protocol systems
• Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers and water-cooled condensers
• Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors
• Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary with customers
• Maintain proper van stock, tools and safety equipment on work van

Core Skills:

• Inspecting plumbing, electrical, and HVACR systems and identifying specifications that are required
• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs for HVACR
• Adjusting and setting temperatures on HVACR units
• Appropriately use supplies and materials in HVACR repairs

Advanced Skills:

• Candidate will have done refrigeration and/or commercial
• HVAC for a least 4 years
• Must have some related education and preferably degree or certificate O6A electrical license is a plus
• Be available for ON CALL
