FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Performs teaching and guidance duties in undergraduate nursing programs (generic, second degree, and RN to BS) and graduate programs. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments, performing administrative, supervisory, and other functions as may be assigned.

 

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION

Strong commitment to nursing didactic and clinical education at the undergraduate level in the area of psychiatric/mental health nursing and/or at the nurse practitioner graduate level.

QUALIFICATIONS

D.N.P., Ed.D. or Ph.D. degree in Nursing or related field with MS in Nursing. Also required is the ability to teach successfully and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

 OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate will have academic teaching experience, at least 3 years of advanced practice clinical experience and New York State license as a registered nurse; for those teaching Nurse Practitioner courses, New York State Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (Adult/Gerontology, Family or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) as well as 3 years of advanced practice clinical experience.

VACCINCE REQUIREMENT

Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment. 
 

COMPENSATION

Salary range: $55,677 to $96,351 commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience
