Human Resource Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
In support of the NEW Water culture of Safety, Respect, Team, and Environment, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all activities relating to the administration and maintenance of all human resources functions of NEW Water to include: compensation, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition and management, employee relations and organizational culture, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and budgeting functions related to stated activities. The Human Resources Manager will develop, implement and monitor programs in a manner that ensures cost effectiveness, market competitiveness and internal equity among employees.
This position also plays a key role in realizing NEW Water’s strategic plan for collaborative leadership to achieve operational resiliency and optimization, regional water quality improvements, and resource recovery as a member of the Executive Team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field. Eight years of progressively responsible experience as an HR Generalist or HR supervisor/manager. Knowledge of payroll functions and HRIS is required. Knowledge of public sector human resources practices is preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience will also be considered.
