Facilities Attendant #1781
Are you a problem solver? Do you like to work with your hands? Are you able to multitask? The Greeley Tribune is looking for a Facilities Attendant to tackle a variety of tasks. The Greeley Tribune Facilities Attendant is an integral part of our team. This person is responsible for general maintenance, janitorial duties, receiving, and general care of the Greeley Tribune Office. This person is a "jack of all trades" and able to identify larger building issues and refer them to the Greeley Tribune Leadership staff. If you are detail oriented, mechanically inclined, and have a great attitude, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Perform all janitorial duties for building.
- Perform maintenance duties as designated by manager (change light bulbs, touch up paint, make basic repairs to the building).
- Deliver Newspapers to local retailers as designated by manager.
- Dispose of cardboard and other packing materials when appropriate.
- Delivers the Tribune mail to Post Office on designated days.
- Pick up Postal supplies (tubs & pallets of bags),
- Sort and deliver incoming shipments.
- Delivers all pallets of overrun/products to customers (Stampede, Blues Jam, Arts picnic, UNC student calendar)
- Inventories janitorial supplies & places orders when necessary.
- Covers receiving dock when needed.
- Compact trash and alert manager when compactor needs to be emptied.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience helpful, but not required
- Must have valid drivers license
- Physically able to carry out duties as required
- Flexible attitude based on what needs to be done any given day/week
