High School Assistant Principal
GRANGER SCHOOL DISTRICT
** HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL**
- A current Washington State Secondary Principal's credentials.
- A Master's degree.
- Experience teaching students in grades 9-12 preferred.
- Previous experience in education administration and instructional leadership preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.
- Ability to establish and maintain high standards of classroom behavior and a positive learning environment.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in district-wide improvement efforts and initiatives.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to student welfare, safety, and discipline.
JOB GOAL: The Assistant Principal will work closely with the Principal to foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative school culture, improve communication with families, and increase graduation rates. They will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to achieve these goals, while also ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the school, including educational, administrative, and operational functions. This includes instructional leadership, curriculum development, staff supervision, student discipline, and community relations.
