Bachelor’s degree or higher in elementary education and WA teaching certificate.
Knowledge in current instructional best practices and curriculum design.

Organizes classroom for optimal instruction including whole group, small group and oneon-one conferencing.
Create a classroom environment where all students feel safe and are successful
academically, socially, and emotionally.
Establishes classroom behavior expectations that are aligned with the school and district

Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of all students within the classroom.
Translates lesson plans into engaging student activities where students do the work.
Monitor student growth using classroom based assessments, as well as district and state
Collaborate with colleagues on instruction, student data, and curriculum design.
Provide continuous feedback to students, parents and administration on student progress
toward meeting standards.
Knowledge of technology resources and ability to apply them in daily classroom
Attends staff and professional development meetings for the purpose of gathering and/or
Willingness to organize and attend school functions outside of the school day.
Maintains accurate records in all subject areas for the purpose of reporting student
progress to parents and showing student growth.
Know Common Core Standards for the grade level taught.
Enthusiasm towards teaching students.
