The Program Assistant supports the development of the Columbia Basin College ("CBC" or the "College") Title V Student Transitions and Achievement ("STAA") Grant (50%) and the Transitional Studies Department (50%). The Title V Student Transition and Achievement (STAA) Grant is awarded to Institutions of Higher Education serving Hispanic, low-income, and underrepresented student populations. The Transitional Studies Department includes Adult Basic Education, (BEdA), Adult Secondary, or English Language Acquisition (ELA). Both programs seek to serve individuals with barriers to education. This position serves as the primary contact with program participants. The Program Assistant will be co-supervised by the Title V Student Transitions and Achievement Grant Director and Director for Transitional Studies Operations.
