Full-Time State-Funded Classified Position
Salary: $29,688.00 - $39,204.00 Annually; $2,474.00 - $3,267.00 Monthly

Columbia Basin College ("CBC" or the "College") seeks a Library & Archives Paraprofessional 2 to perform routine library tasks at the Pasco Campus Library, though the same tasks may be performed on occasion at the Health Sciences Library in the Richland Campus. This position will order, receive and process library materials, locate and revise catalog copies and input/update library records. The Library & Archives Paraprofessional 2 will also perform circulation and collections maintenance functions. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Library and Instructional Services.
Required Qualification:
- High school graduate or equivalent; and
- Three (3) years of technical services or applicable library experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and library technical services experience;
OR
- Associate's degree in Library Technology from a regionally accredited college or university and technical experience in functional operations of a library level.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent need for oral, written and auditory communication;
- Frequent use of computer;
- Frequent mobility throughout library and to other locations on campus as needed;
- Frequent repetitive hand and wrist motions; Frequent light to moderate lifting (30 pounds); and
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
