Human Resources Consultant 1-Payroll & Compensation
Full-Time State-Funded Classified Position Salary: $39,204.00 - $52,536.00 Annually $3,267.00 - $4,378.00 Monthly.

Columbia Basin College ("CBC" or the "College") is seeking a Human Resources Consultant 1 to perform a variety of first-level professional and confidential duties in support of payroll and compensation functions of the College's Human Resources Office. This position works independently in making decisions regarding payroll processes within established guidelines and resolves problems and/or inquiries, and initiates corrective action reporting to their immediate supervisor.
Required Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university; and One (1) year of experience in human resources or related setting that included payroll and bookkeeping duties/responsibilities. Preferred Qualification: Understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws; Advanced computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office products, Computerized HP-UNIX Systems; and Must have knowledge of bookkeeping and/or accounting procedures and strong math skills.
