The Yakima Fire Department needs a Deputy Chief with exemplary personnel management skills. Qualified candidates must have 3 years in a position equivalent to a YFD Captain or higher. An AA, BA/BS, or MA in Fire Science, Fire, Public Administration or a related field and/or graduation/current enrollment in the Executive Fire Officer's Program from the National Fire Academy is preferred.
