Administrative Assistant II Public Works
Duties: Perform a variety of highly responsible, complex & confidential administrative duties in support of the Public Works Director & department staff. Provide customer service & assistance to City personnel, agencies & the general public. Coordinate or participate in the management of various inter-departmental & public matters such as coordinating schedules, facilitating & scheduling meetings, providing notification & documentation. Setup & maintain detailed records to assure accurate & reliable records & reports, some of which may be subject to audit/review.
Requirements: High school diploma/general educational development & three (3) years of progressive administrative experience or a combination of education, experience & training required to perform the duties of this position. Must have thorough knowledge of secretarial practices & office procedures. Knowledge of business English, composition, spelling, grammar, punctuation, & letter format. Previous municipal experience preferred. Valid WA Driver's License.
Salary: $21.34 - $26.01 per hour, plus benefits.
