Job Title: Chief of Hanford Patrol, DOE -CS3

Clearance: DOE Q Clearance

Summary: The Chief of Hanford Patrol (CHP) is responsible for a fully trained contractor Protective Force. The CHP is responsible for exercising leadership, maintaining high morale, directing and inspecting the performance of personnel assigned to their site.

This includes overseeing the scheduling, work distribution, training, answering of questions related to work, and solving problems.

The CHP must have complete knowledge of the site, all building and facilities, post orders, emergency contact list, emergency procedures, special instructions and all post duties at the site.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

• Bachelors' degree in a related field, such as law enforcement, police science, police administration, or criminology.
• Equivalent education/experience is applicable.
• Eight (8) years' experience in security or law enforcement administrative and operations experience in the armed forces security police or civilian equivalent or related field five (5) of which is at the supervisory level.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• Must possess and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
