Requires experience working with United States service members, veterans and dependents, and a general understanding of VA educational benefits rules and regulations is preferred.
Individual must possess strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be proficient with computers and have experience managing multiple priorities and activities. Prefer candidates with a degree in Business, Marketing, Human Services, or related discipline. Individual must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to attend college fairs, Veteran's benefit event, military training sites, and other recruiting activities. Prior experience providing services to students at a college or university is preferred.
General Summary
Individual will assist with planning, organizing, and implementation of recruiting activities and special projects to promote the Veterans and Military Resources Center as a Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success. Will also lead marketing activities and events to increase enrollment and persistence on the campus. Will provide support for the matriculation of prospective Veterans & Military students through direct outreach. Will conduct regular follow up with prospective and current students and will be a direct liaison between CCC, Military & Veteran Resources, National Guard, and Reserve Units in the area. Part time Mathematics Instructor will hold a Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, or Master's degree in a related field with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics.
-A relatively high level of analytical ability is required for curriculum development and course design aligned with Concepts of Universal Design and Quality Matters, for advising and/or referring students, preparing course plans, and/or other activities.
-A substantial level of interpersonal skills to provide guidance and referrals for students regarding sensitive issues.
-Must have knowledge of Instructional Technology and college software to include: Microsoft Word, Instructional Design Program (WIDS), Moodle, Web-Ex, etc.
-Applicants must have strong interpersonal, oral and written skills.

General Summary
Instruction of Mathematics that include: Practical Math, Occupational Math, Pre-Algebra, Elementary/Intermediate/College Algebra, courses. This will include online and on site teaching. The instructor will collaborate with the Dean, Associate Dean and, as appropriate, the program director in order to assist students in accessing, learning and attaining educational goals; facilitate learning by providing varied learning experiences and teaching in instructional modalities for a diverse student population, as assigned. Furthermore, Instructor will professionally represent the college, its role and mission. The instructor will meet the education and work experience standards set forth in the job specifications.
