Financial Analyst
Benton PUD is accepting applications for a Financial Analyst in our Kennewick, WA location. The purpose of this position is to perform financial, accounting or treasury work for theaccounting department. The position will have the primary assignment of oversight ofPayroll and A/P functions serving in a lead role, and responsibility for tax compliance and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Certifications
FINANCIAL ANALYST II
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 3-4 years experience conducting moderately complex financial analysis, preferably in governmental accounting and treasury
- Prefer certification in: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM) or similar certifications.
FINANCIAL ANALYST III
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, MBA preferred
- 5-7 years experience conducting related complex financial analysis, with at least 2 years in utility, governmental accounting or treasury
Strongly prefer certification in: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM) or similar certifications.
ADA Requirement
- Attendance: Consistent need to attend work at the job site or work location. Frequent or constant need for punctuality.
- Physical Effort: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Hazards: Most of the time is spent in general office or equivalent conditions.
- Sensory Attention: Typically requires limited levels of sensory attention.
