Maintenance Technician
Under the direction of the Crew Leader, the person in this position is to perform assigned duties related to the efficient and proper operation of the water, wastewater, and support facilities of the Bedford Regional Water Authority. Successful candidates will have basic knowledge of welding, electrical repairs, PLCs, masonry, plumbing, carpentry, pump overhaul and repair, as well as industrial drive components. This position is a day shift position. Some nights and weekends required on a rotating basis. Benefits include paid time off, holiday pay, comprehensive health insurance, and retirement.
Preventative Maintenance Technician
Under the direction of the Preventative Maintenance Crew Leader, the person in this position performs skilled work operating and maintaining equipment used in the internal inspection of sanitary sewer lines and customer service lines in addition to assisting with preventative maintenance programs throughout the water and wastewater system. Successful candidates will have a High School or equivalent diploma, at least 3 years of experience in water and sewer or construction preferred, as well as strong human relations and communications skills so as to be able to effectively communicate with all parties involved in a project. This position is a day shift position. Benefits include paid time off, holiday pay, comprehensive health insurance, and retirement.
