Project and Reliability Engineering - Electrical Engineer I III
ELE00900 Areva is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer our Richland, WA location. Primary responsibilities will include: Start up, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of process and production equipment and associated facilities and support systems. Oversee field work which may include new installation, integration into existing systems, repairs and operation. When designing and maintaining the systems, validate conformance with applicable safety standards and requirements. The candidate will be required to learn existing plant systems and support improvement projects and maintenance activities at a facility with highly automated chemical processing and assembly equipment. All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity.
Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position. Engineer I - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering plus 0-2 years of engineering experience. An advanced degree may be substituted for related exp. (Master of Science 1-2 years or Doctor of Philosophy 1-3 years). Engineer II - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering plus 2-3 years of engineering experience. An advanced degree may be substituted for related experience (Master of Science 1-2 years or Doctor of Philosophy 1-3 years). Engineer III - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering plus 3-5 years of engineering experience. An advanced degree may be substituted for related exp. (Master of Science 1-2 years or Doctor of Philosophy 1-3 years). Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships. Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills. Design experience with AutoCAD software.
