Disabilities Professionals and Community Trainer
The Arc of Spokane is seeking a self-motivated and organized human services professional to join the Sexual Abuse Prevention team at The Arc of Spokane to provide the Sexual Abuse Awareness, Intervention and Response training to disability services professionals and concerned community members in the Spokane area.
The successful candidate will have: A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or other human services. The ability to meet training requirements to provide sexual abuse/ assault services. Knowledge of adult learning styles. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint. Ability to pass a required back ground check. A valid Driver's License and insurance.
The following attributes are also desirable: Experience with providing training's. Good facilitation skills. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and their families and service providers. Knowledge of resources for families of children and adults with developmental disabilities in Spokane County.
This is a part-time position beginning at 30 hours per week which includes medical, dental, life insurance, retirement after eligibility is met. Includes paid leave and paid holidays. $19-21.85 per hour, salary is negotiable. Funding for this position is grant-based and may be subject to change upon grant renewal.
