Adams County Integrated Health Care Services has opening for a Full Time 1.0 FTE Crisis Interventionist. Basic Functions include but not limited to the delivery Trueblood Enhancement of Mobile Crisis Response Services throughout Adams County. Crisis Services include Crisis Telephone Triage, Mobile Crisis Response (MCR), and referrals to a Designated Crisis Responder when an individual needs an Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) evaluation and investigation. The primary goals of MCR is to divert individuals from jail, emergency departments, and involuntary psychiatric treatment. MCR provides outreach services to assist with connecting individuals with the appropriate primary healthcare and behavioral health services, as well as community resources which increase the likelihood individuals will stabilize in the community and prevent deterioration. MCR will provide crisis intervention, engagement, supportive counseling, information and referral, linkage to requested/necessary resources and appropriate community-based mental health and chemical dependency services for ongoing treatment and follow-up to individuals and families of all ages in community-based settings. Qualifications: Bachelor degree from an accredited college with an emphasis in Social Science and 1 year experience in working in human service field. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with individuals on a one-on-one basis or collaboratively as part of a team. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must successfully pass a background check and a driving record check.
Starting Salary Ranges 45,768.96 - 47,877.84 DOE. Benefits include retirement, medical, dental, holidays, vacation and sick leave. Equal Opportunity Employer. Position open until filled
