Senior Human Resources Manager
AAR Composites, is a single-source solution for aerospace composite manufacturing. We provide design services, testing assembling and repair solutions for commercial and government customers. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Human Resources Manager. The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the HR function and providing strategic and tactical support to Senior Leadership, office staff, and production personnel. Supports all levels of the organization in the various disciplines of Human Resources including employee relations, recruitment and staffing, payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, performance management, talent development, training, safety, workers compensation, legal compliance (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, EEO), etc. Supports both Composites manufacturing sites: Clearwater, FL and Sacramento, CA (5% travel required).
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include
The Following:
Provides direction to Senior Leadership Staff in all areas of Human Resources to ensure compliance to company policy and state/federal employment law. Performs full cycle recruiting: updating job descriptions, posting roles, sourcing and screening applicants/resumes, coordinate interviews, preparing offers letters and negotiating terms, on boarding new hires, etc. Ensure compliance, monitoring and updating I-9 Employment Eligibility through E-Verify; maintain files for I-9 forms. Prepares and maintains weekly headcount reports Respond to inquiries for financial and employment verification. Promote and facilitate changes in the hourly work environment to increase employee engagement and productivity Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers at all levels; Plan and assist in planning employee events.
Administer various human resources plans and procedures for designated facility including: benefits, Open Enrollment, leave of absence requests, unemployment, workers compensation, etc. Provides assistance and guidance to managers and supervisors on HR policies and procedures. Works cooperatively with supervisors to identify and resolve issues. Responsible for payroll administration and administration of the timekeeping system. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Monitors Human Resource programs such as: performance evaluation, transfer requests, corrective action, employee relations etc. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Education And / Or Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, or other related field.
Minimum eight (8) years' experience in Human Resources. Experience supporting all levels of a business in a manufacturing environment required.
